George Asous

George has been a physical therapist for going on 15yrs. He graduated in 2012 from Hardin-Simmons University. Where he was presented with the William R. Gould academic achievement and enthusiastic learner award. He has served in a multitude of settings and positions in the field from that time. He has earned a fellowship in manual therapy and orthopedics. He is also certified in dry needling and sees himself as a life-long learner. Teaching and treating patients are his true passions.
George currently resides in Magnolia, Tx with his wife and daughters. He works in the woodlands, Texas in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. And is always seeking opportunities to pass on his knowledge and learn new things himself.

Matthew Foley

Dr. Matthew Foley, is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Clinic Director, and Partner with BenchMark Physical Therapy. He completed an orthopedic residency through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute and is currently pursuing fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Dr. Foley specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, dry needling, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise prescription. In addition to treating, he routinely mentors clinicians and residents across the Metro-Atlanta area develops clinical education initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes. He is passionate about helping clinicians integrate evidence-based examination, manual therapy, and exercise strategies into their daily practice to improve both patient care and clinical confidence. When he is not working, he enjoys running, biking, and traveling with his family.

John Daust

Kelly Steussy

Kelly has been a clinician for 13 years, currently working in the Charlotte NC area. She currently serves as a TCEL for the VA, NC, SC and some of the GA markets. She has been a vestibular therapist since 2020, completing her certification through URI. In addition, Kelly completed an orthopedic residency with Drexel University and has her board certification in Orthopedics. She is also certified in dry needling, blood flow restriction and orthopedic manual therapy.

Brady Riekeman

My journey in Physical Therapy started out with working as a Physical Therapy Assistant. While I was finishing my undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine as an Athletic Trainer, I would work in Nursing homes as a PTA. When I finished my undergraduate degree, I started working in outpatient PT as a PTA and quickly realized I wanted to do more. I went back to school for my DPT, and upon graduated continued working in outpatient PT. I have continued to work on doing more getting my OCS and COMT and am looking forward to progressing myself by helping teach others and seeing what you can teach me.

Amanda Polson

Amanda received her B.S. in Therapeutic Exercise Science from Liberty University in 2021 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Lynchburg in 2024. Amanda works in an outpatient orthopedic setting serving patients with orthopedic, pelvic health, and congenital/acquired limb loss needs. Amanda also holds her CSCS certification and regularly trains athletes of all calibers.

Kelly Rizzuto

Kelly Rizzuto (she/her) is a physical therapist and clinic director practicing in Durham, North Carolina and serves as the Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator for the Triangle Region within Upstream. She is an alumna of Elon University with undergraduate degrees in Exercise and Sport Science as well as Psychology and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. She received her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) through IAMT in December of 2021, Dry Needling Certification (CDNT) in November of 2022, and Vestibular Certification (Cert. VT) in August of 2024. Kelly is pelvic health trained through IAMT and her current practice includes working with both the orthopedic and pelvic health population. She is passionate about mentorship and education and serves as Clinical Instructor and mentor for many students and clinicians.

Cat Quinn

I live in the best state in all the land , the volunteer state. I’m a big UT VOL fan but could’nt tell you much about the sport! MY clinical background in rooted in manual therapy. There’s nothing I love more than using my hands to help someone find real relief when nothing else works.
Teaching though is where I come alive. Whether ‘m mentoring new clinicians, breaking down concepts for patients, or making complex PT knowledge actually make sense, I want learning to feel less like a lecture and more like a conversation/party you actually enjoy.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find me lifting heavy ( because strength is a non-negotiable no matter your age!), chasing my kido around, and traveling with my Fireman.
I believe in doing hard things-in the gym, at work, in life-BUT having fun while doing it.
I am passionate about women’s health through their lifespan, nature, and reality TV. So come to my course and let’s change the future and provide GREAT care to patients.

Alan Kaplan

Alan Kaplan is a Senior Therapist and occupational therapist practicing in North Texas with Upstream Rehabilitation’s Peak Physical Therapy and Results Physiotherapy. He received his Master of Occupational Therapy degree from The University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas, and has seven years of clinical experience in upper extremity and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Alan is a Certified Hand Therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and received his Certified Manual Occupational Therapist credential through NAIOMT in 2023.

Alan currently serves as a mentor in Upstream Rehab Institute’s Hand Therapy Fellowship and is responsible for developing the hand therapy program for Peak Physical Therapy and Results Physiotherapy in North Texas. He treats musculoskeletal conditions of the cervical spine, thoracic spine, and upper extremity, utilizing a combination of manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and custom orthosis fabrication.

In addition to his clinical practice, Alan serves as a clinical instructor for both occupational therapy and physical therapy students. Alan is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and is passionate about evidence-informed practice, clinical reasoning, mentorship, and helping clinicians integrate manual therapy principles into upper extremity rehabilitation. He has a special interest in complex hand and upper quarter conditions and enjoys fabricating challenging and non-traditional orthoses to meet individualized patient needs.

Brandon Williams

Brandon C. Williams received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2014. He became a board certified specialist in orthopedics (OCS) in 2017 following residency training with URI. He also finished his Fellowship training through URI in 2023 and is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopeadic Manual Physical Therapists. He also holds certifications as a Comprehensive Manual Therapist (CMT), a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist (Emory), and Dry Needling. He currently treats a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, and vestibular/dizziness conditions. He enjoys treating patients, teaching students, and mentoring clinicians in evidence-based rehabilitation. He currently mentors DPT students on their orthopedic clinical rotations, mentors new grads entering the workplace, and advises Orthopedic residents and Fellows during their residency and fellowship programs. He is also an adjunct faculty at local Knoxville DPT programs at South College and Lincoln Memorial University.

Kaitlyn Flickinger

Nicholas Pucillo

Nicholas Pucillo is a licensed physical therapist with a passion for advancing clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and continuing education. A graduate of Bellarmine University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2015, he has dedicated his career to the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. In 2018, Nicholas earned his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through IAMT, further developing advanced skills in differential diagnosis, hands-on treatment techniques, and movement-based rehabilitation. Since 2019, he has also been a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), recognizing advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in orthopedic physical therapy. Nicholas currently practices with Results Physiotherapy in Louisville Kentucky, where they specialize in the treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions across a wide range of patient populations. He has also received training in Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and managing runners.

Will Hartman

Will Hartman, PT, DPT, COMT, is a Clinic Director and orthopedic physical therapist who enjoys helping clinicians grow through practical, hands-on education. A graduate of The Ohio State University and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through IAMT, Will combines his experience in clinical practice, leadership, and mentoring to make complex concepts approachable and immediately applicable. He teaches and assists in IAMT continuing education courses, mentors new graduate physical therapists, leads student education programs, and serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students. His teaching emphasizes clinical reasoning, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Daniel Mines

Dr. Mines is an apprentice instructor for the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. Dan earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree at Campbell University and undergraduate degree at NC State University. Dan is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a board Certified Pelvic Health Clinician (CPHC), and a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CDNT).

Michael Ragan

Michael Ragan is a physical therapist with more than 14 years of outpatient orthopedic experience. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from East Tennessee State University and currently serves as a Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator with Upstream Rehabilitation, where he leads clinical education initiatives, mentors physical therapists, and oversees quality and outcomes across multiple outpatient clinics.

Michael is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method), and is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist. He has completed advanced training in thrust manipulation, pain science, and manual therapy, with a passion for integrating evidence-informed practice into everyday patient care.

Michael continues to practice in an outpatient orthopedic setting where he is the Clinic Director and treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions using a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.

Whitney Norman

Alissa Bojdo

Alissa Bojdo obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Walsh University in 2017. In 2020 Alissa completed an orthopedic residency through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute culminating in her Board Certification in Orthopaedics in 2021. Alissa has completed extensive coursework for her certification in pelvic health as well as dry needling. With a passion for teaching, she taught Exercise Physiology as an adjunct professor at Wright State University and leads tutorials and grand rounds for new graduates and students in her region. Alissa also serves as a mentor for new graduate physical therapists, orthopedic residents, and is a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.

As a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Alissa treats patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions as well as treating patients of all genders with pelvic health concerns. Alissa loves combining hands-on therapy as well as strength and conditioning in order to help her patients live their best lives symptom free. Alissa is dedicated to improving pelvic health education for her patients and community and is passionate about continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally. She currently practices in Huber Heights, Ohio as a Senior Physical Therapist.

Gary Diekhoff

Gary is a 2012 graduate from the Texas State University in San Marcos, TX with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He received his certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) through the Manual Therapy Institute (MTI) in May 2015. He is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CDNT) through IAMT achieved in Dec 2023. He also received his certification as a Vestibular Therapist (Cert. VT) in December 2024 through IAMT. He became Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2026. Gary has also received training in Craniomandibular treatment through IAMT. His main areas of interest include exercise prescription, integration of manual therapy, and mentoring new grad therapist. Currently, Gary is practicing in Murphy, TX as Clinic Director for Results Physiotherapy, and serves as a Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator for therapists within Upstream Rehabilitation in the DFW area.

Misty Seidenburg

Misty Seidenburg is a fellowship-trained orthopedic physical therapist, educator, and healthcare leader with over two decades of experience advancing musculoskeletal care. She currently serves as Vice President of Quality & Outcomes for Upstream Rehabilitation and directs both the Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Residency Programs.

Throughout her career, Misty has focused on helping clinicians integrate manual therapy, exercise prescription, and contemporary pain science into a cohesive clinical framework. Her teaching emphasizes thoughtful clinical reasoning, individualized patient care, and the progression from symptom modification to meaningful functional recovery. She believes the most effective rehabilitation combines skilled hands-on care with targeted exercise and patient-centered education to promote long-term self-management and resilience.

As faculty for IAMT, Misty teaches Pain Science, Core Manual Therapy, Exercise Prescription, and Functional Progressions. She is also adjunct faculty at Messiah University, where she develops and teaches orthopedic and pain science content. Misty is passionate about translating evidence into practical clinical strategies that improve patient outcomes while helping clinicians build confidence in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Domonique Martin

Dr. Domonique Martin earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University and completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency with Drayer Physical Therapy. She is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) and a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Dr. Martin serves as the Sports Residency Program Director for the Upstream Rehab Institute and as the Clinical Coordinator for Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. In her leadership role with the sports residency program, she oversees curriculum development, instruction, and mentorship, helping to shape the next generation of sports physical therapists. In addition to mentoring residents, Dr. Martin supports new graduate physical therapists through mentorship and education as a Senior Therapist with Upstream Rehab. She also serves as a Regional Site Coordinator of Clinical Education, working closely with physical therapy students and Clinical Instuctors during their clinical training. Dr. Martin actively leads and supports company-wide sports physical therapy initiatives focused on outreach, collaborative care, education, and sports performance. She is also a course developer and lead instructor with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. Professionally, she serves as the Alabama Delegate for the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy and her clinical interests include concussion management, female athletes, overhead athletes, and sports performance.

Ashlie Crewe

Ashlie Crewe Campitella (she/her) is currently the Pelvic Health Program Coordinator for Upstream Rehabilitation Institute. She attended Gannon University where she received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees. She achieved her Board Certification as a Pelvic and Women’s Health Specialist in 2017, has obtained two other pelvic health certifications through educational institutions, and also has training as a sexuality counselor. She is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society as well as the Global Pelvic Health Alliance, and currently serves as a delegate representing Pennsylvania in the APTA. She has developed continuing education courses in pelvic health that emphasize inclusion of all genders, in a biopsychosocial and trauma-informed care model. In clinical practice in central Pennsylvania, Ashlie treats patients of all ages and genders with pelvic health concerns with special focus on pelvic pain conditions and gender-affirming rehabilitation, while providing structured mentorship to other pelvic floor therapists in her company. Ashlie also serves as adjunct faculty at Lebanon Valley College and is on the Medical Advisory Board for the Lichens Sclerosus Support Network.

Natasha Dawkins

Dr. Natasha Dawkins (she/her) obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pelvic & Women’s Health Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also a Certified Pelvic Health Provider (CPHC) and a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC) through IAMT and Herman & Wallace, respectively. In addition, she is a certified running coach through the Road Runner’s Club of America.

She now practices in the Western corridor of Atlanta with Upstream Rehabilitation and is dedicated to improving the health of for her patients and community. As the current clinical director, she currently treats pelvic floor issues in all genders related to under-functioning pelvic floor dysfunctions (ie: prolapse, stress/urge urinary incontinence, urinary urgency), obstetrics issues (ie: diastasis recti, antepartum pain, postpartum pain, pelvic pain), and over-functioning pelvic floor dysfunctions (ie: constipation, pelvic pain, painful intercourse). In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Dawkins is involved in teaching continuing education courses within the pelvic health specialty through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT) and pelvic health therapist mentorship through Upstream Rehabilitation.

In her free time, Natasha enjoys running, cooking, being active with her sons and husband, and taking naps with her 2 adorable (but crazy) dogs.

Poonam Hurley

Dr. Poonam Hurley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is an accomplished clinical instructor and board-certified orthopaedic physical therapist practicing in Atlanta, Georgia. She serves as a faculty instructor for Upstream Rehab Institute (URI), teaching musculoskeletal and dry needling courses across both the URI Orthopaedic Residency and continuing education programs. Dr. Hurley earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University before graduating from the URI Orthopaedic Residency. She holds board certification in orthopaedics (OCS) and advanced certifications in dry needling from both IAMT and Myopain Seminars. With 15 years of experience integrating dry needling into her practice, she consistently utilizes this modality to optimize patient outcomes. Committed to the highest standards of manual therapy, Dr. Hurley completed the URI Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship and is a recognized Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Beyond clinical practice, she is a dedicated educator and leader. She acts as a longtime clinical instructor, mentoring new graduate physical therapists, orthopaedic residents, and fellows-in-training. Additionally, she contributes to the broader academic community by serving as an adjunct professor in various DPT programs.

Ryan McConnell

Dr. McConnell earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed both a Postdoctoral Orthopaedic Residency and a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute and holds a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Physical Therapy from Bellin College. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.

Dr. McConnell currently serves as Membership Chair for the Tennessee Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and remains active in professional leadership and advocacy. He also mentors orthopaedic residents in physical therapy through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute and Fellows in Training with Belmont University’s Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. Dr. Ryan McConnell serves as Vice Chair and Associate Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Belmont University.

His scholarly interests include orthopaedic physical therapy interventions, pain science, dry needling safety, and the biopsychosocial dimensions of clinical practice and learning.

Dylan Higgins

Dylan Higgins is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with more than 11 years of clinical experience and currently serves as a Territory Clinical Excellence Leader for Upstream Rehabilitation, providing clinical leadership and support across five states. In this role, he partners with clinicians and operational leaders to advance clinical quality, professional development, and patient outcomes.

Dylan completed the Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) track through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, further strengthening his expertise in orthopedic examination and treatment. He serves as an instructor for the CORE Manual Therapy courses through IAMT, emphasizing the integration of clinical reasoning throughout the examination, treatment and progression of care.

As both a mentor and educator, Dylan is passionate about developing clinicians at every stage of their careers. His teaching philosophy centers on delivering practical, evidence-informed strategies that clinicians can immediately implement in the clinic the very next day. Through engaging instruction and real-world application, he strives to enhance clinical decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous professional growth.

Paul Meyer

Paul graduated from NAU with distinction in 2014. In 2016 he completed his residency training with Evidence in Motion to obtain his board certification. Afterwards he enrolled in the Fellowship program through Bellin College and completed it in 2020. He is currently a senior therapist at Results Physiotherapy where he is a mentor for incoming graduates. He also performs mentorship work with Upstream Rehabilitation Institute’s residency and fellowship students. In addition to these roles he is also a faculty member of the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments continuing education program as well as adjunct faculty at South College DPT program.

K. McCall Ballentine

K. McCall Ballentine (she/her) is a physical therapist currently practicing in Cary, NC, and serving as a Pelvic Health Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator within Upstream Rehabilitation. She is an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with undergraduate degrees in Exercise and Sport Science as well as Psychology and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg. In addition to her certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) through IAMT, Dr. Ballentine has completed extensive training in pelvic health through the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health as well as IAMT as a Certified Pelvic Health Clinician (CPHC). She serves as an adjunct faculty member for High Point University’s DPT Program in dry needling lab coursework and as a mentor for Upstream’s Pelvic Health Development Program.  

Tyler Miller

Dr. Tyler Miller, DSc, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, has over ten years of clinical and academic experience, specializing in advanced pain science, dry needling, and orthopaedic manual therapy. He holds a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Belmont University , and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dr. Miller teaches comprehensive post-professional courses ranging from practical pain science and neurodynamics to multi-level dry needling , while also serving as a residency and fellow mentor. Alongside his teaching, he maintains an active research agenda with a strong focus on dry needling safety and mechanisms, alongside studies in pain neuroscience education and student metacognition. Dr. Miller currently serves as a full-time faculty member and the Director of Clinical Education at Belmont University while maintaining an active practice in the community.

Evelyne Burtis

Dr. Evelyne Burtis is an instructor with Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments/Upstream Rehab Institute and a physical therapist practicing in Chattanooga, TN.  She is an instructor for the musculoskeletal and dry needling courses in the URI Orthopaedic Residency and Orthopedic Fellowship Programs.  Dr. Burtis obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Tennessee Chattanooga, and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Andrews University.  She has achieved board certification in Orthopedics (OCS), and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Burtis is a long-time clinical instructor and serves as a mentor to new graduate physical therapists, orthopedic residents and fellows-in-training. Dr. Burtis has also held roles as a teaching assistant and adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

Jennifer DeYoung

Jennifer DeYoung, MOT, OTR/L, CHT is a Certified Hand Therapist with 30 years of clinical, educational and leadership experience in upper extremity rehabilitation. She serves as Hand Therapy Director and Director of the Hand Therapy Fellowship for Upstream Rehabilitation, where she leads hand therapy specialty program development and mentorship initiatives across the organization. Jennifer has extensive experience in orthosis fabrication education and design, advanced clinical training, and develops structures learning pathways for therapists new to hand therapy practice. She is an active member of the ASHT and serves as Chair of the Practice Division’s Practice Management and Reimbursement Committee. Jennifer is committed to advancing clinical excellence, compliance and professional growth within the field.

Brandon Ellison

Brandon graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010. He received his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in May of 2012. He also earned his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars in December 2012, as well as his running coach certification through the Road Runner’s Club of America.

He has practiced in outpatient orthopedic manual therapy since 2010, with a focus in working with runners ranging from new 5k athletes to ultra marathoners.  Brandon is currently the Lead Therapist at Results Physiotherapy in Brentwood, TN, and assists with the manual therapy training program as Regional Education Coordinator.

Daniel Maddox

Dr. Daniel Maddox has been a physical therapist since 2008, serving in multiple capacities as a clinician, researcher, and educator. He is currently Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education for the Brenau University Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Gainesville, GA. In addition, he is the owner of RunLife Performance and Physical Therapy in Hoschton, GA.
A dedicated post-professional educator, Dr. Maddox has been heavily involved in residency, fellowship, and continuing education since 2013, including founding an OMPT fellowship program and leading it as Program Director for nearly a decade. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He holds a Doctor of Science degree in physical therapy and has authored multiple works published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.
Merging his clinical background with his personal passion for endurance sports, Dr. Maddox is also a Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Level I Certified Running Coach and provides coaching and clinical services through his company – RunLife. Most importantly, he is a proud husband to a beautiful wife and dad to two wonderful kids. Outside the clinic and classroom, he is a dedicated runner who enjoys camping, biking, and traveling with his family.

Lee Newman III

Lee Newman is a 2001 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with over 24 years of outpatient clinical experience. He currently serves as Clinic Director at Elite Physical Therapy in Brandon, Mississippi, and as Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator for the Central Mississippi region. In addition to his leadership roles, he is faculty for the Upstream Rehab Institute Orthopaedic Residency and mentors in the Manual Therapy Fellowship program, while also pursuing his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy at Bellin College. Lee is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), with additional certifications in dry needling and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). He is passionate about evidence-based practice, lifelong learning, and mentoring the next generation of clinicians, and outside of work he values time with his wife and two children, often on the soccer field with his family.

Grace Mollohan

Dr. Grace Mollohan is the Director of Orthopaedic Residency as well as a course instructor for Upstream Rehab Institute.  She has been a practicing physical therapist in Atlanta, GA since 2011 when she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University.   Dr. Mollohan completed Orthopaedic Residency with Evidence in Motion in 2013 and completed OMPT Fellowship training with BenchMark Rehab Institute in 2018.  She has achieved board certification in orthopaedics (OCS), and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.  Dr. Mollohan is a clinical instructor and serves as a mentor to new graduate physical therapists, orthopedic residents and fellows-in-training.  She is also adjunct faculty in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Emory University.  Dr. Mollohan remains active in ongoing research and continues to present at both state and national level conferences.

Keri Rogers

Dr. Keri Rogers is the Mentor Coordinator for all Upstream Rehab Institute programs. She is also a content developer and instructor with Upstream Rehab Institute. Dr. Rogers obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Andrews University in 2008. She has achieved board certification in orthopaedics (OCS), and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Rogers is a long time clinical instructor and serves as a mentor to new graduate physical therapists, orthopedic residents and fellows-in-training. Dr. Rogers has also held roles as a teaching assistant and adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Southern Adventist University. She continues to present at both state and national level conferences.

Ethan Vosburgh

Dr. Ethan Vosburgh obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah in 2021. He subsequently completed residency and fellowship training with URI, and achieved board certification in Orthopaedics (OCS), and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Vosburgh currently splits his time as a senior therapist, Orthopaedic Residency Mentor, lab instructor for the Upstream Rehab Institute program, and teaching assistant for George Fox University. When treating, Dr. Vosburgh emphasizes evidence-informed practice utilizing contemporary multimodal care to prescribe patient specific treatment plans in a shared decision making model.

Clare Jackson

Clare, a native of southern Illinois, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in Physical Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Evansville in Indiana in 2011 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013. Since 2013, she has been working for Results Physiotherapy in the Memphis area.

Initially, Clare practiced primarily in northern Mississippi and later became the Clinic Director in Collierville, Tennessee. She is a certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, a National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) board-certified athletic trainer, and a certified dry needling therapist. Additionally, she serves as the regional site coordinator of clinical education, assisting in placing physical therapy students at clinic rotations for Upstream in the Memphis region.

Clare has been teaching with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments since August 2013, serving as an instructor and assistant for various courses in sports rehabilitation and the COMT pathway.

Clare is passionate about non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions and advocates for the autonomy of physical therapists as healthcare providers. Throughout her career, she has gained experience working with various sports teams and athletes, conducting on-field injury assessments and injury screenings and prevention using the SFMA, FMS, and Y balance tests.

Natalie Wilson Abell

Natalie is a graduate of the University of St. Augustine with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She received her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University in 2017 and earned the designation of Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2019. She completed her fellowship training in orthopedic manual therapy with Regis University in 2024. Natalie practices with Results Physiotherapy in Germantown, TN and serves as Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator of the Memphis market. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and APTA Tennessee. She is passionate about patient care and physical therapist education. She is lead instructor for the Orthopedic Manual Therapy curriculum for the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT) and is an assistant instructor for the dry needling curriculum. She spends her time mentoring and guiding physical therapists toward clinical excellence and constantly strives to provide patients with the world-class treatments they deserve.

Jordan Wilkins

Jordan is a 2016 graduate from August University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began her career in the acuate care setting specifically cardiac/neuro ICU before transitioning to the outpatient setting in 2019. She received dry needling training as well as her Vestibular Rehab Therapist certification through the Upstream Rehab Institute. Jordan completed course instructor training with IAMT with emphasis on dry needling and vestibular rehab curriculum. Her main areas of clinical interest include: dry needling, vestibular/concussion, and progressive neurological disorders. Currently, Jordan serves as a Regional Vice President for Upstream Rehabilitation in the Charleston, SC market.

Mark Jagger

Mark graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2005. He has worked in orthopedics throughout his career and currently serves as clinic director of his practice in Lenexa, KS. Mark has always had a strong interest in manual therapy and completed an orthopedic residency program as well as dry needle training in 2018 through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute. Mark also serves as a clinical instructor for PT students, a senior therapist and mentor for new clinicians, and an instructor in the grand rounds program for students on clinical rotation. In his free time, you can find Mark on the golf course or spending time with his three dogs.

Rebecca Turner

Dr. Rebecca Turner is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), and Director of Physical Therapy at Pinehurst Surgical Clinic’s Human Performance Institute in North Carolina. She combines clinical practice, leadership, and education to help clinicians bridge the gap between evidence, movement science, and real-world patient care.

Rebecca currently serves as a Lead Instructor for IAMT USA, where she teaches continuing education courses focused on exercise prescription, functional rehabilitation, and clinical progression.

With extensive experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, post-operative care, and return-to-performance, Rebecca has treated everyone from recreational athletes to highly active individuals seeking to return to demanding physical activities. As a clinic director, she continues to oversee clinical operations, mentor developing clinicians, and lead initiatives focused on quality improvement, program development, and patient outcomes.

Beyond traditional clinical practice, Rebecca serves as an instructor for the NATO Special Operations Forces Austere Medical Course, where she developed and teaches the Rehabilitation in Austere Environments curriculum. She trains multinational medical providers to apply rehabilitation principles in operational and resource-limited environments, emphasizing critical thinking, adaptability, and evidence-based decision making under challenging conditions.

Rebecca’s teaching philosophy centers on helping clinicians become better problem solvers rather than simply learning techniques. Her courses blend current evidence, practical experience, and interactive discussion to provide treatment strategies that are immediately applicable in everyday clinical practice.

Rebecca earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University and is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She also holds certifications as a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer, USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, SFMA Level I & II Practitioner, RockTape FMT Provider, and Pelvic Floor Level 1 Therapist.

Bryan Cheddar

Bryan Cheddar, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a fellowship-trained orthopedic manual physical therapist, educator, and clinical leader dedicated to advancing high-quality musculoskeletal care. He currently serves as Clinic Director at Benchmark Physical Therapy in Norcross, Georgia, and as Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator for two regions, where he partners with clinicians across the state to improve patient access, optimize outcomes, and elevate standards of care.
Bryan completed his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and advanced practice.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Bryan is deeply involved in clinician education. He serves as adjunct faculty at Brenau University and as a lead instructor within both the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT) and the Upstream Rehabilitation Institute Orthopedic Residency. Through these roles, he teaches a wide range of orthopedic topics, including clinical decision-making, differential diagnosis, spinal and extremity evaluation, and manual therapy interventions. His teaching emphasizes critical thinking, integration of evidence-based practice, and the development of practical clinical skills that translate into improved patient outcomes.
Bryan’s clinical philosophy centers on combining skilled manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and patient education to empower individuals toward long-term recovery and resilience. His favorite moments center around seeing that “lightbulb” go on in clinicians heads when they understand a concept and are able to apply it. He is passionate about mentoring clinicians, fostering professional growth, and bridging the gap between evidence and everyday practice in orthopedics.

Adam Bentley

Adam Bentley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a graduate from Texas A&M University in 2009, earning a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in 2013. He received his fellowship through The Manual Therapy Institute and his board certification in orthopedics in 2016 . Adam has also completed coursework in dry needling, fitness athlete rehabilitation, PNE, and many other areas of interest but above all values solid clinical reasoning and patient engagement.

Adam is a lead instructor with The Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments and Mid Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants and loves leading both live and virtual courses. He has been a residency and fellowship mentor since 2016, fulfilling one of his greatest passions and purposes to invest and give back to those who serve our communities and profession.

Adam started his outpatient PT journey in 2013 with Concentra, serving in various roles from PRN, float therapist, CD, Area Director, and serving as a clinical advisor to the medical expert panel. He then spent time in area leadership with Athletico supporting a wide array of clinical and operational initiatives before transitioning to Upstream in 2023 as the Division Clinical Excellence leader for the West Division where he serve two years supporting clinicians from Alabama to Washington. He now has the privilege of leading KS, MO, AR, OK, and CO as Vice President of Operations seeking to grow alongside the increasing demand for outpatient PT services while enhancing the clinical and patient experience.

In his personal life Adam spends most of his free time with his amazing wife Sarah watching their three boys (ages 16, 12, and 10) play baseball and grow into young men. The family is completed by the best of them, Riley the 6 year old Golden Retriever. In his own free time, he loves to play the guitar (though not well), play video games, stay active through varied exercise, ride or drive anything with a motor, hike, play disc golf, or enjoy a great whiskey on the back porch.

Sarah Bentley

Sarah Bentley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a graduate from Texas State University in 2006, earning her BS degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She then went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2008. She received her fellowship through The Manual Therapy Institute in 2010 and her Board Certification in Orthopedics (OCS) in 2012. Finally, she became a Red Raider and completed her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Texas Tech University in 2012.

Sarah is a lead instructor for both  Mid-Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants as well as Institute for Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments.  She has also served as a mentor for The Manual Therapy Institute, graduating 15+ fellows since 2010.  As an instructor, Sarah’s passion is to help each individual reach their full potential by optimizing their current skillsets and building upon the participants unique knowledge and experiences.  Sarah recognizes that participants come from different backgrounds and she tailors her approach to meet the participants where they are in their clinical journey.  

Sarah started her career in 2008 at Concentra, serving injured workers and other Occupational Medicine needs. In 2020, Sarah joined Results Physiotherapy to start an all de novo market in Dallas Texas, which has rapidly grown to serve the surrounding communities. Results is part of the nation’s largest pure play out patient provider, Upstream Rehabilitation. In addition to her role as Regional Vice President, she also serves on the Committee of Clinical Excellence where she strives to uphold the highest standards in current practice, research, and professional development while promoting a balanced clinical culture and unified  mission throughout the organization.

Sarah is surrounded by the love and joy of her husband, Adam and three boys Ben, Will and Holden. When she is not helping to teach around the country, you can find her at the baseball fields watching her 3 boys live out their dreams.  Her motto to live by are: “Be better than you were yesterday” and “Choose Joy.”

James A. Edwards

James graduated from Glamorgan University with a BSc(Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science in 2005 and a degree in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in 2008. Since working in the USA James has completed his OCS in 2013, COMT in 2018 and Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Bellin College, WI in 2026.

James worked in the UK for 2 years in the NHS in a variety of settings while also working as a Physiotherapist for Reading Football Club academy providing coverage on field as well as in clinic. He also enjoyed working as a Physiotherapist with Hereford Rugby Football Club. Since moving to the USA James has worked in musculoskeletal outpatient clinics in multiple cities in North Carolina and now in Tennessee. James specializes in working with neck and shoulder patients, but enjoys treating all patients across the general population. He is also the Physiotherapist for Nashville Rugby Football Club.

James has an unrelenting passion for the profession of Physiotherapy and education that has continued throughout his career. James is currently focused on teaching our Exercise Prescription class, as well as the Upper Quarter Examinations and Treatments and Triggerpoint Dry Needling classes.

Aaron Joseph

Aaron Joseph is a Senior Therapist at our Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Specialty location specializing in treatment of vestibular and neurological disorders, including concussions, stroke, vestibular migraines, and spinal cord injuries. Aaron attended Lipscomb University for his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Bond University on the Gold Coast of Australia for his Doctor of Physiotherapy. He holds certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion rehabilitation and teaches continuing education courses for the assessment and treatment of vestibular disorders for IAMT. In his free time, he enjoys playing flute, saxophone, mandolin, and piano, as well as working on his novel and spending time with his wife Marlee and dog Phoebe.

Christina Myers

Dr. Christina Myers received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Elon College (2001), her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2010), and her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College (2021). Dr. Myers completed OMPT fellowship training with Evidence in Motion and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). Dr. Myers also teaches post-professionally through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT). Her research interests include clinical education, student belonging, and the relationship between therapeutic alliance and patient outcomes. Dr. Myers has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting, she has presented at both state and national conferences, and she currently serves on a specialty committee workgroup for the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy. Dr. Myers faculty duties with the South College DPT Program include Director of Clinical Education and Associate Professor

Brian Trabulsi

Brian graduated with a BS in Sports Medicine from Marietta College and received certification by the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) in 1999. In 2000, he received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Chatham University. For several years, he was a pediatric PT providing early intervention and school-based therapy services in NJ. After relocating to Raleigh, Brian shifted his focus to outpatient orthopedics. In 2013, he received a Certificate of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) and Trigger Point Dry Needling through Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).

Brian specializes in the treatment of complex spine dysfunction, running/throwing injuries and TMJ dysfunction. Most recently, Brian received his MBA from UNCW-Cameron School of Business and is currently the Director of Rehabilitation Services and MSK programs for UNC Hospitals. For the past 11 years, Brian has been involved with mentoring and program development for the UNC Orthopedic Residency Program. He enjoys staying active through mountain biking, running and the Raleigh F3 community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and watching their 3 children play sports.

Charles “Chuck” Clark

Chuck received his Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Louisville and both Master of Health Science and Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Indianapolis. He was re-certified in Orthopedics (OCS) in 2013 and attained a manual therapy credential from the University of St. Augustine in 2008. Chuck has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 1999. Lastly, Chuck became a Certified Dry Needling Therapist in 2017.

From 2005-2007, Chuck was the primary instructor of the Great Lakes Seminars’ Cervical and Thoracic Mobilization Continuing Education course. From 2008 forward, he has been focusing on developing, refining and teaching the Manual Therapy Toolkit Course on a national level. Chuck’s practice environment has always been outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. He currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Results Physiotherapy in Louisville and Lexington, KY areas.

Markus Towne

Dr. Markus Towne graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus in 2016, and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2019. Over the past decade, he has gained extensive experience treating a variety of active patients with orthopedic injuries, managing outpatient physical therapy clinics, teaching continuing education courses for licensed clinicians, and mentoring orthopedic residency students. He currently practices physical therapy in the Northern Colorado area.
As a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Dr. Towne treats patients using an integrative approach focused on manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, patient education, and evidence-based dry needling to address musculoskeletal impairments, and optimize pain management.

Hannah Kolomiets

Hannah graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from Belmont University in 2012. She then received her Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification through IAMT in December of 2015, OCS in June of 2016, her running coach certification through Road Runners Club of America in Sept 2017, and became a certified dry needling specialist in Dec 2018

She has practiced in outpatient orthopedics in North Alabama since 2012, focusing on chronic spine pain and running athletes. She has worked frequently with local runners and triathletes and started coaching training groups in 2017. She is currently a staff PT at Results Physiotherapy in North Alabama and is a Regional clinical excellence coordinator since 2019 training and mentoring other therapists in their clinical development. Hannah has been an instructor with IAMT since 2021.

Bill Johnson

Dr. Bill Johnson earned his Master of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 1994 and his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2005. He has been a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) since 2000 and is a Certified Advanced Golf Fitness Instructor (AGFI).

Committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, Dr. Johnson has completed advanced manual therapy training through Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds certifications in Dry Needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).

Dr. Johnson developed and copyrighted two innovative programs: **S.K.I.P.© (Successful Knee Injury Prevention)**, designed to help reduce knee injuries in female athletes, and **A-Game©**, a performance enhancement program focused on improving speed, agility, quickness, and power in athletes of all levels.

As the founder and owner of Advantage Results Physical Therapy, a Medicare–cash hybrid practice in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Dr. Johnson is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care that helps patients recover from injury, restore function, and maximize performance. His clinical approach emphasizes identifying the root cause of pain and movement dysfunction to deliver lasting results rather than temporary symptom relief.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and pursuing a variety of outdoor adventures.

Destiny Gaddis

Dr. Destiny Gaddis is a fellowship-trained orthopedic manual physical therapist, educator, researcher, and leader with more than 20 years of clinical, academic, and continuing education experience. She currently serves as Core Faculty and Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas, where she teaches musculoskeletal physical therapy, clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based practice while mentoring future physical therapists.

Dr. Gaddis earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of North Georgia, her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Touro University Nevada. She completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through the American Manual Therapy Institute and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).

Throughout her career, Dr. Gaddis has held numerous academic leadership positions, including Director of Clinical Education and core faculty appointments in Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. She has extensive experience developing curricula, supervising clinical education, and advancing physical therapist education through innovative teaching strategies and evidence-informed practice. Her doctoral research explored faculty perceptions of student readiness for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and learning-oriented assessment practices in professional physical therapy education.

A nationally recognized continuing education instructor, Dr. Gaddis has developed and taught courses across the United States in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, differential diagnosis, spinal manipulation, dry needling, and evidence-based clinical practice. She has created multiple certification programs and has served as a lead instructor for vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management training since 2016.

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Gaddis maintains active involvement in professional service and leadership. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and has served in leadership roles with the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Gaddis is passionate about helping clinicians bridge the gap between evidence and practice through practical, patient-centered approaches that enhance clinical reasoning, improve outcomes, and foster lifelong professional growth.

Michael W. McMurray 

Michael earned both his Masters in Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Shenandoah University before completing advanced residency and fellowship training. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Michael has authored peer-reviewed research publications and textbook chapters, serves as a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy students, and is the Residency Director, lead instructor and resident mentor for the Virginia Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) Orthopedic Residency Program. He also teaches advanced musculoskeletal and pain science courses through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT). His clinical and teaching interests include orthopedic manual therapy, spinal evaluation and treatment, and the integration of pain science into evidence-based practice.

Mark Strickland

Mark Strickland, PT, OCS, MTC, Cert MDT, CFC, CCTT, CODN is a graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1984. He received his McKenzie certification in 1994, completed his Board Certification in Orthopedic Specialty in 1999, his Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 1999, and his Craniofacial Certification in 2005 also through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In 2009, he was certified by the Physical Therapy Board of Cervical & Craniofacial Therapeutics (PTBCCT) as a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist. In 2012, he completed his Vestibular Certification through the American Institute of Balance and Certification in Orofacial Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars.
Mark is currently employed as Chief Science Officer for BrainVault, LLC; a concussion mitigation company.
Since 2004 he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

In his personal life, he plays Men’s Senior Baseball, golf, and works in his garden. Mark holds Black Belts in Kung Jung Mu Sul and Jui Jitsu.

E. Larry Grine

Larry trained at University of Miami (FL), graduating in 2000 with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine setting since 1993. Larry received credentials as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) in 1994 and as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 1997. In addition, he is a Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist since 1999 and Full-Body Certified in Active Release Technique (ART) since 2013. Larry is currently pursuing his fellowship with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT); where he has completed Levels I-III. Larry has the completed Active Release Technique curriculum and Selective Functional Movement Assessment training Levels I-II through Functional Movement Systems and he received his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and became a Certified Dry Needling Therapist in 2018. Prior to attending University of Miami, Larry graduated from Millersville University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with Minors in Mathematics and Business Administration in 1994.

Larry is a former collegiate athlete, playing Division II soccer, coached various sports, and has been treating with a hands-on approach since 2000. He has a passion for learning, teaching others and helping to advance the profession of physical therapy through educational opportunities. Larry currently is Clinic Co-Director of Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center and has worked or is currently working as an athletic trainer/physical therapist for several levels of sports teams and groups including: the United States Men’s World Cup Soccer Team, Washington Redskins, Delaware Wizards Pro Soccer Team, collegiate athletes, youth travel teams, and triathletes.

Bianca Tyler

Bianca Tyler, PT, DPT, OCS, PRPC, COMT, Cert DN has been a physical therapist since 2016. She graduated with a BS from Duke University in 2013 with a major in evolutionary anthropology and with double minor in chemistry and biology. She earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016 from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2018, she earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. In 2019 she completed Upstream Rehabilitations Orthopedic Residency program and received her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification in 2020. She continued to work and refine her skills and recently became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Institute of Advanced Manual Treatments in May 2026.

Bianca began her journey as a teaching assistant with IAMT in 2023 and has continued to refine her teaching skills under the guidance of IAMT and their lead instructors.

Bianca currently works with Benchmark PT in the Atlanta, GA area and treats the sports, pelvic health and orthopedic populations. She is now the clinic director at the Lithia Springs location, continuing to grow their pelvic health program while continuing to help and treat sports and orthopedic patients.

Outside of work, Bianca enjoys paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking and yoga as well as participating in various comic and anime conventions.

Glenn Thompson

Dr. Glenn Thompson is an Upstream Rehab Institute instructor and mentor and a physical therapist practicing in Crossville, TN.  He is an instructor for: MT2 and MT3 in the URI Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, musculoskeletal and dry needling courses in the URI Orthopaedic Residency and multiple continuing education programs. Dr. Thompson obtained his entry level physical therapy degree from East Tennessee State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Evidence in Motion in 2014.  He completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy with Evidence In Motion in 2017 and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.  Dr. Thompson has also achieved board certification in orthopaedics (OCS).  He is a clinical instructor and serves as a mentor orthopedic residents and fellows-in-training.

Anthony Mancini

Dr. Anthony Mancini completed his B.S. in Exercise Science at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011 and his DPT degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014. Upon graduating from physical therapy school Dr. Mancini went on to complete an orthopedic residency in 2016 and earned a board-certified specialization in orthopedics (OCS). During this time, he worked primarily in a rural setting working with chronic pain and orthopedic patients as well as pediatric patients. In 2017, Dr. Mancini moved to Nashville to open a practice treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions and patients with limb loss. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic and manual therapy through Bellin University in Wisconsin in 2020, earning his FAAOMPT status. Since 2020, Dr. Mancini has been teaching continuing education courses to licensed physical therapists through IAMT with a focus on dry needling as well as orthopedic management courses. Dr Mancini also assists with Upstream Rehabilitation Institutes orthopedic residency program and is currently a full-time assistant professor and Associate Director of Clinical Education at Western Kentucky University. He is a member of the APTA and has served the TN chapter in several roles including the New Horizons chair and Membership chair.

Josh Subialka

Josh Subialka is an assistant professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where he has worked since 2020 teaching entry-level DPT students in the areas of physical therapy evaluation, therapeutic exercise, and a variety of musculoskeletal and manual therapy content. He also works part-time in the MWU clinic working with patients and mentoring MWU DPT students. Josh has been involved in teaching continuing education courses since 2017, teaching the comprehensive management course series, as well as dry needling and clinical decision making. He is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica’s DPT program, as well as Upstream Rehab Institute’s orthopedic residency program, becoming an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS), and the orthopedic manual physical therapy fellowship program, becoming a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). He continues to be active in the URI fellowship program as a lead faculty member in the clinical decision making and research coursework, as well as an active mentor for fellows-in-training across the country. In 2021, Josh graduated from Bellin College with a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree, where he published works on patient expectations and manual therapy trials for low back pain in prestigious journals such as JOSPT. His current research interests are patient expectations and perceptions of physical therapy/manual therapy, trial methodology and clinical applicability, qualitative-driven research, and social determinants of health with accessibility to PT services. Josh is a national presenter/speaker, having presented at local, AAOMPT, and CSM conferences and is an active member of the APTA and AAOMPT organizations with a strong desire to contribute to actionable legislative change to improve the quality of entry-level and post-professional education and manage the student debt crisis with changes to educational costs and insurance reimbursement. 

Jaison W. Alderman

Jaison has practiced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2011 after returning to school at age 30. He later earned his Master of Business Administration in 2014, which helped prepare him to open Sisu Physiotherapy in 2024. Passionate about Trigger Point Dry Needling since 2011, Jaison holds certifications in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars and as a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CDNT) through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).

Since 2015, Jaison has served as faculty with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT), teaching continuing education courses in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Therapeutic Taping. He has also assisted with numerous Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) courses. In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor and guest lecturer at Shenandoah University, assisting with cadaver lab instruction, soft tissue mobilization courses, and Trigger Point Dry Needling education for Doctor of Physical Therapy students.

In 2024, Jaison founded Sisu Physiotherapy in Warrenton, Virginia, to provide one-on-one, patient-centered care rooted in the principles of resilience, determination, and individualized treatment.

Jaison believes every patient deserves an individualized treatment plan that combines skilled hands-on care with corrective exercise to restore movement, and improve quality of life.

Jason B. Myerson

Jason is a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic center in Fairfield County, CT. Jason is a 2005 graduate of Quinnipiac University with his Masters in Physical Therapy. He went on to complete Manual Therapy Residency and Fellowship training through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2011 and 2012. Through the OGI he achieved a Doctorate in Manual Therapy in 2012 and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2013. Jason became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2013 and completed a certification in Dry Needling (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars in December of 2014 and a certification in the Mulligan Concept (CMP) in March 2015. He serves as adjunct faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.

John Fainsan

John earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 from Ithaca College in NY. He obtained his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2006. He was trained in trigger point dry needling in 2008. He was certified in manual therapy (MTC) through the University of St. Augustine in 2011. He has worked in a variety of orthopedic settings, mostly focusing on spinal dysfunctions. John has worked with various populations including athletes, spinal cord injured clients, weekend warriors, hikers, skiers, snowboarders, dancers, runners, cyclists, martial artists, golfers, and swimmers.

Outside of the clinic, John loves to do jiu jitsu, travel, eat exotic foods, hike, bike, snowboard, and spend time with his family. He holds a rank of purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. John is a former resident of both New York and Colorado. He now resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons.

Kevin Dandy

Kevin graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2002. He received his manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2010. He also holds a certification in kinesiology taping from Spider-Tech since 2011.

Kevin has practiced in the orthopedic and sports-medicine settings since 2002 with an emphasis on complex spinal dysfunction, chronic pain, and high-level athletes.   Since 2010, Kevin has trained with several trigger point dry needling institutes in order to integrate this highly effective treatment in to his PT practice and is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist. He is currently the Lead Physical Therapist at Virginia Therapy and Fitness Center in Reston, VA.

Matt Broussard

Matt is a 2010 DPT graduate of Texas Woman’s University. After training with The Manual Therapy Institute, he took a position with Results Physiotherapy in Nashville, TN. He earned his OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) and COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist) through Maitland Australian Seminars both in 2012. He has been practicing in the orthopedic outpatient setting with all populations with an emphasis on manual therapy, progressive exercise prescription and direct access since 2010. He also serves on the education faculty for Results Physiotherapy and IAMT.

Megan E. Pere

Megan is a Physical Therapist, Certified Manual Therapist, Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, SFMA Certified, Certified Dry Needling and CrossFit Level 1 Coach for Results Physiotherapy. Megan is a District Clinical Quality Leader serving 16 clinics providing hands on patient care, mentorship to both PTs and PTAs, and formal education training classes and workshops. Megan was a two sport Division 1 athlete at The University of Tennessee at Martin where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2006 and received the Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2011 where she received the Stanley V. Paris and Catherine E. Patla award for Excellence in Manual Therapy. She earned her Certification in Manual Therapy through the University of St. Augustine and served as an Adjunct Teaching Assistant for Extremity and Spinal Evaluation and Manipulation.

Megan began her career with Results Physiotherapy in 2014, and received the Results Physiotherapy, “Engagement” award in 2016.  Megan has been a primary instructor with IAMT since 2015 and specializes in Exercise Prescription, Soft Tissue Mobilization and Taping, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and IASTM. Megan’s passion is not only patient care and teaching but continuing to learn and absorb as much as possible from new research and colleagues.

Michael Dunning

Michael Robert Dunning is currently the Clinical Director and Partner at Benchmark Physical Therapy in McDonough Georgia. He graduated from Valdosta State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sports Medicine & Athletic Training, and currently holds a certification as a licensed Athletic Trainer. Michael continued his studies at Georgia State University to receive a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2004. Following school, he completed a Residency and Fellowship program with “Institute of Rehabilitation and Training” and obtained certification as a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2007. In the 10 years since completing his Fellowship he has become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2014, Certified in Vestibular therapy by the Gans institute in 2008, and dry needling with Myopain institute in 2014.

Pam Tutten

Pam is a Hand Therapy Fellowship instructor and mentor as well as course developer with Upstream Rehab Institute and a practicing occupational therapist and clinic director for Benchmark Rehab Partners in Ellijay, GA.  She obtained her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Occupational Therapy and Psychology from Utica College of Syracuse University and her post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University.  Pam is a Certified Hand Therapist as well as being certified by Ergoscience, ARCON, and WORKSTEPS systems to provide care for the worker population.  She is a Senior Therapist and serves as a professional and clinical mentor through the Hand Therapy Fellowship program.  Pam is also adjunct faculty at Brenau University in their master of Occupational Therapy program.

Richard A. Banton

Rich has been practicing Physical Therapy since earning his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 1998. In August 2004, Rich completed his Transitional Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. Rich is recognized by NAIOMT as a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT). Rich has been certified by the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) as an athletic trainer since 1995.

Rich has been instructing in the IAMT, www.IAMT.org, curriculum since 2012. He has played a significant role in developing the IAMT dry needling curriculum. Prior to attending Shenandoah University, Rich received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from Marietta College. His degrees in sports medicine and physical therapy allow him to work with several professional and amateur athletes from the Washington Commanders, professional golfers, collegiate athletics, Olympians, and several local high school athletic teams.

Rich has served as clinic director for 18 years before starting his own private physical therapy practice, Infinity Performance Therapy, in 2021.

He has served as a primary author of multiple articles for The Spinal Research Foundation, www.spinerf.org, and is currently an adjunct professor for Shenandoah University. In 2012, Rich received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from Shenandoah University to honor his significant accomplishments in the profession of physical therapy. Rich’s commitment to quality is evidenced by combining trigger point dry needling, manual therapy and evidence based exercise to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. His goal is to “create an environment for healing to take place.” A statement his patients and students often hear. He understands that each patient is unique and therefore deserves a treatment plan that is specific to their needs.

Shaughn Regan

Shaughn graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from the University at Buffalo in 2013. He earned his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through IAMT in 2015 and his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2016. He practices orthopedic physical therapy with special interest in manual therapy, movement systems, and patient education in pain science. Shaughn is currently the Lead Therapist at Results Physiotherapy in Brentwood, TN.

Tray Rush

Dr. Tray Rush earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Missouri. He completed vestibular certification through the American Institute of Balance and received concussion training through the UPMC Sports Medicine Summit on Concussion.

Dr. Rush previously served as a physical therapist, clinic director, and mentor for clinicians pursuing specialization in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management in the Kansas City area. He has extensive experience treating complex, multifactorial concussion and vestibular cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation injuries, and sports-related injuries.

He is the lead developer and instructor for the Concussion Management course through Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT). Currently, Dr. Rush practices as a sports physical therapist at a local children’s hospital, with a special emphasis on the treatment of acute and subacute concussion patients. He also serves as an adjunct professor in a local Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
