Michael Ragan
PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, COMT, CDNT
Michael Ragan is a physical therapist with more than 14 years of outpatient orthopedic experience. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from East Tennessee State University and currently serves as a Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator with Upstream Rehabilitation, where he leads clinical education initiatives, mentors physical therapists, and oversees quality and outcomes across multiple outpatient clinics.
Michael is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method), and is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist. He has completed advanced training in thrust manipulation, pain science, and manual therapy, with a passion for integrating evidence-informed practice into everyday patient care.
Michael continues to practice in an outpatient orthopedic setting where he is the Clinic Director and treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions using a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
