PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Michael earned both his Masters in Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Shenandoah University before completing advanced residency and fellowship training. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Michael has authored peer-reviewed research publications and textbook chapters, serves as a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy students, and is the Residency Director, lead instructor and resident mentor for the Virginia Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) Orthopedic Residency Program. He also teaches advanced musculoskeletal and pain science courses through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT). His clinical and teaching interests include orthopedic manual therapy, spinal evaluation and treatment, and the integration of pain science into evidence-based practice.
