Christina Myers
PT, DPT, DSc, OCS, Cert. MDT, FAAOMPT
Dr. Christina Myers received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Elon College (2001), her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2010), and her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College (2021). Dr. Myers completed OMPT fellowship training with Evidence in Motion and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). Dr. Myers also teaches post-professionally through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT). Her research interests include clinical education, student belonging, and the relationship between therapeutic alliance and patient outcomes. Dr. Myers has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting, she has presented at both state and national conferences, and she currently serves on a specialty committee workgroup for the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy.
