Domonique Martin
PT, DPT, ATC
Dr. Domonique Martin earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University and completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency with Drayer Physical Therapy. She is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) and a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Dr. Martin serves as the Sports Residency Program Director for the Upstream Rehab Institute and as the Clinical Coordinator for Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. In her leadership role with the sports residency program, she oversees curriculum development, instruction, and mentorship, helping to shape the next generation of sports physical therapists. In addition to mentoring residents, Dr. Martin supports new graduate physical therapists through mentorship and education as a Senior Therapist with Upstream Rehab. She also serves as a Regional Site Coordinator of Clinical Education, working closely with physical therapy students and Clinical Instuctors during their clinical training. Dr. Martin actively leads and supports company-wide sports physical therapy initiatives focused on outreach, collaborative care, education, and sports performance. She is also a course developer and lead instructor with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. Professionally, she serves as the Alabama Delegate for the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy and her clinical interests include concussion management, female athletes, overhead athletes, and sports performance.
