Jaison W. Alderman

Jaison has practiced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2011 after returning to school at age 30. He later earned his Master of Business Administration in 2014, which helped prepare him to open Sisu Physiotherapy in 2024. Passionate about Trigger Point Dry Needling since 2011, Jaison holds certifications in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars and as a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CDNT) through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).

Since 2015, Jaison has served as faculty with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT), teaching continuing education courses in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Therapeutic Taping. He has also assisted with numerous Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) courses. In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor and guest lecturer at Shenandoah University, assisting with cadaver lab instruction, soft tissue mobilization courses, and Trigger Point Dry Needling education for Doctor of Physical Therapy students.

In 2024, Jaison founded Sisu Physiotherapy in Warrenton, Virginia, to provide one-on-one, patient-centered care rooted in the principles of resilience, determination, and individualized treatment.

Jaison believes every patient deserves an individualized treatment plan that combines skilled hands-on care with corrective exercise to restore movement, and improve quality of life.
