Adam Bentley
PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Adam Bentley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a graduate from Texas A&M University in 2009, earning a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in 2013. He received his fellowship through The Manual Therapy Institute and his board certification in orthopedics in 2016 . Adam has also completed coursework in dry needling, fitness athlete rehabilitation, PNE, and many other areas of interest but above all values solid clinical reasoning and patient engagement.
Adam is a lead instructor with The Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments and Mid Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants and loves leading both live and virtual courses. He has been a residency and fellowship mentor since 2016, fulfilling one of his greatest passions and purposes to invest and give back to those who serve our communities and profession.
Adam started his outpatient PT journey in 2013 with Concentra, serving in various roles from PRN, float therapist, CD, Area Director, and serving as a clinical advisor to the medical expert panel. He then spent time in area leadership with Athletico supporting a wide array of clinical and operational initiatives before transitioning to Upstream in 2023 as the Division Clinical Excellence leader for the West Division where he serve two years supporting clinicians from Alabama to Washington. He now has the privilege of leading KS, MO, AR, OK, and CO as Vice President of Operations seeking to grow alongside the increasing demand for outpatient PT services while enhancing the clinical and patient experience.
In his personal life Adam spends most of his free time with his amazing wife Sarah watching their three boys (ages 16, 12, and 10) play baseball and grow into young men. The family is completed by the best of them, Riley the 6 year old Golden Retriever. In his own free time, he loves to play the guitar (though not well), play video games, stay active through varied exercise, ride or drive anything with a motor, hike, play disc golf, or enjoy a great whiskey on the back porch.
